The Year (And a Half) In Review

My, how time flies!! Such a cliché, but so true! I can’t believe that it’s been almost a year and a half since I last blogged. It was my intention to keep blogging about everything here in Topeka after the wedding to keep all of our family and friends up to date on our lives, but instead phone calls and emails have had to suffice. Returning to the blog has been on my “To Do” list for months, but somehow it’s fallen by the wayside. The good thing is that we’ve been enjoying our time as a family so much (among other things) that it’s been hard to find the time to blog.

I’m going to pick up with the blog where I left off, just to make sure everyone gets caught up. I feel like so many little details of our family’s new life together, our transitions, and exciting times, got overlooked because they weren’t properly documented. It’s my hope that this blog will serve as a digital scrapbook, as well as a way to update family and friends. I’m going to attempt to hit the highlights here over the next several posts and then move on to the present day. As you all probably know, we’re about to have some exciting changes in our lives again so I need to get my blog in order!!
